Our history 1992-2023

Been around the block for a while...

Being an AKC preferred breeder, our kennel is inspected by an AKC official which includes safe and sanitary housing, as well as dna submissions, microchip identifications, and insurmountable paperwork in order. We have been a preferred breeder for years.

Family Venture

31 years ago I purchased my first GSD, 2 years later I had my first litter of GSD. Our twins Alicia and Adam were about 2 at the time we got our first GSD and we were enamored by the breed itself.

A close friend guided me through the initial stages of the ins and outs of breeding and poof we were off and running. My initial kennel name was Wag-A-Lot (self explanatory) which was latter changed to K9-Pines to depict a more serious name.

Jason, the head of the house, is a former Police Officer and former State and Federal Corrections Officer;

The 'Twins', Alicia and Adam grew up working, training, teaching and helping to tend to various dogs in the kennel and have a natural love for animals. Sadly Adam was killed in the summer of 2104. Alicia is now a Patrol Deputy (following Jasons foot steps) and still owns the first GSD she was gifted shortly before her first daughter was born.

Very planned, our family grew by 2 more, Hunter now 21 then Michael 19 years old and help out both at the Pizza shop and the kennel. Both learning responsibility and how to be able to run successful business's. Michael still enjoys playing with puppies and Hunter is the analytical making sure things are done right. Both are amazing boys and I am very proud of them both.

Our Story

At K9 Pines Home of the Blue, Brindle, Isabella, Liver, Panda, German Shepherds, we've been providing top quality, colorful, rare German Shepherd puppies since 1992. Compassionate experienced professionals are passionate about animals and dedicated to providing the best possible care for your next furry family member.

Who we are

Matt and I have been together for nearly a decade, raising our family while teaching the girls the same values I had as a kid, they are learning responsibility and unconditional love while helping socialize the puppies.

Our Team

Our team is made up of 2 awesomsauce funny girls, one tween, and 1 teen. As you can see both are full of smiles and ready to take on the world with positive energy and love.
